Kevin is a seasoned project controls consultant with over two decades of experience guiding some of the world’s most ambitious scientific and technology initiatives. As CEO and Co-Founder of Dash360, he leads the design and implementation of advanced Project Management Control Systems (PMCS) that empower teams to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives with precision.
Kevin’s path into project controls began with a lifelong passion for astronomy. Growing up on the Gulf Coast of Texas, he moved to Arizona to pursue his interest in the stars, working as a telescope operator before deciding to keep astronomy as a personal pursuit. His desire to remain connected to the field led him to Chile, where he supported the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) project. It was there that he met Bill McVeigh, who would later become his business partner in founding Dash360. Together, they have collaborated on a wide range of projects, from particle accelerators to observatories, bringing innovative solutions to the scientific community.
A recognized authority in earned value management (EVM), risk analysis, and Monte Carlo simulation, Kevin has supported groundbreaking endeavors including the Rubin Observatory, Cherenkov Telescope Array, IceCube Upgrade, and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams. His technical expertise spans Primavera, Deltek Acumen, Cobra, OpenPlan, and Dash360’s proprietary application, complemented by deep proficiency in database design and software development.
Beyond technical mastery, Kevin is committed to fostering collaboration, training Control Account Managers (CAMs), building intuitive web-based tools, and ensuring transparent communication across stakeholders. His career reflects a rare blend of technical rigor, creative problem-solving, and strategic vision, qualities that continue to drive Dash360’s mission to deliver best-in-class project management solutions for the scientific community
